Transforming Mathematics Departments for Equity and Inclusion
A conference for changemakers using the COME-In Framework
COME-In is a community of leaders in the mathematical sciences working together to build an equitable and inclusive mathematical profession.
COME-In prepares leaders for transformation through a cyclic process of collecting data, strategic planning and implementation, and assessing progress.
COME-In engages leaders in a deep-dive strategic planning process leading to transformative change in support of all members of a department, program, or other mathematical community by identifying and ameliorating barriers to success.
COME-In provides a structured yet flexible set of tools, supports, and professional development for department leaders to conduct holistic self-assessments of policies, practices, and outcomes related to the success of students and other members of their communities. These tools and supports facilitate assessment of local needs and priorities, focused goal setting, and actionable planning to implement change.
