The resources on this website are freely available to anyone who finds them useful in leading transformational change in the mathematical sciences.
Our community goes beyond these resources to provide professional development, consulting support, and an active group of leaders in mathematics working together to share ideas, challenge and support one another, and collectively work for change.
We invite applications for people to join our community as the leader of a change team. Department leads are paired with a trained external Transformation Partner to serve as a consultant throughout their transformation work.
Department Leads:
Complete an online Jump Start course
Collaborate with a Transformation Partner, a trained, independent consultant who provides ongoing support to your team
Lead a team of 3-4 faculty/staff members
Meet virtually with their Transformation Partner at least bi-weekly throughout the year, and in-person during a visit of the Transformation Partner to the host institution,
participate in regularly scheduled community meetings and professional development events throughout the academic year
Applications to join the COME-In community are accepted on a rolling basis.
Programming begins each year in September, but you are welcome to apply and join the community when it best fits your institutions.

Do you have the time to facilitate the team, completed the Jump Start online course, and participate in other COME-In programs and activities throughout the academic year?
Ready to join COME-In? Here's how:
Each COME-In Team Leader applies to join the community and is welcomed based on a demonstrated commitment to transformational change.
The Team Leader completes an online Jump Start training and is paired with a Transformation Patner who serves as a consultant throughout the process.

Costs and contracts
Enroll in the COME-In community with a $1000 administrative fee.
Contract with your Transformation Partner (minimum $1500/yr + travel expenses for one campus visit).
Note that additional costs might be incurred to implement the projects prioritized by the team.

The COME-In Jump Start is an online course to orient Team Leaders to the COME-In framework, using data to guide strategic planning, dealing with resistance, and other tools.
